Era 1994, e eu inventei de escrever uma música, ainda que definitivamente, eu não tenha esse dom. Os anos se passaram, e com tantos projetos esse era o mais engavetado de todos. Enfim, ano passado comecei a me dedicar à música em questão, e chamei Elisete, a talentosa intérprete brasileira, que vive em Israel, já falei tanto aqui no Blog. A interpretação dela ficou linda, singela, marcante e personificada.
Os remixes ficaram a cargo dos DJs Douglas Marques e Marcelo Mistake, que desfilaram seus talentos com remixes completamente diferentes. Também no single tem o Remix dos Belgas do UPS, que deixaram o single coeso, são 9 versões, com opções pra diferentes gostos e momentos de pista.
Mais um lançamento internacional. Assinei contrato com a Selecta Beats, um selo da Bélgica e o pack já encontra-se disponível em sites como: Traxsource, Amazon, Soul Seduction.

Sybil - Walk On By (Edvaldo's Mixes)

Indispensável apresentar "Walk On By", mesmo que não sejamos remetidos à sublime interpretação de Dionne Warwick, pra o clássico de Burt Bacharach e Hal David (Burt, um dos maiores compositores de todos os tempos que esteve recentemente se apresentando no Rio). A faixa teve remakes de gente como Gabrielle, Diana Krall, muita gente, além da maravilhosa versão de D-Train, com aqueles violinos inesquecíveis.
Sybil, a regravou em 89, na mesma época época que eu me encantava com várias de suas obras, como Can't Wait (On Tomorrow), Don't Make Me Over (também interpretada inicialmente por Dionne Warwick).
Bem, chegou 2009, e 20 anos, a necessidade de uma nova roupa, tentando continuar elegante, mas revigorada, fresh. O single tem a acapella, daí facilitou muito pra fazer o Remix (Sim! Remix se faz com acapella e criando um novo arranjo para a música).
São 2 versões, a diferença entre elas é a introdução. Uma é ideal pra mixar e a outra pra abrir o Set.
